Compared to the Nintendo version, the scale is significantly smaller, but players should still be prepared for a few weeks of play. The objects and creatures that appear each day may be random, but the scenarios and scenery are predetermined. Cozy Grove opens up new areas of your island if you help the spirits, but it’s a fixed world. Overall, the game is almost identical to Animal Crossing, but it has much more of a narrative component. Sticks and different kinds of wood are used for all kinds of inventions. Raw vegetables can be cooked according to the recipe. You can make fences, lamps, lanterns, tables, chairs and many other useful and curious objects. You can build all kinds of facilities to make the island more pleasant for the spirits, the flora and fauna, and for yourself. Resources can be transformed into instruments that can be augmented by additional resources. They dig pits, shake piles of leaves, split rocks, fish and shake trees to find resources, money, food and other items.
They roam the island every day looking for things. At the most basic level, this includes most of the tasks at the core of Animal Crossing. As a spiritual explorer, it’s your job to help them get to the other side. Here the bears are full-fledged characters, albeit haunting, with distinct and engaging personalities, problems and aspirations. In the game Cozy Grove, however, this love for bears is reinforced. Cozy Grove Review: Animals crossing the road It’s a mix of juxtaposition and urbanism, and most importantly, it shows the developers’ love of bears, which has been preserved in most of their games. Spry Fox is perhaps best known for Triple Town, which many years after its release is still one of the great match 3 games. Developed by the Quantum Astrophysics Guild and Spry Fox, this game features the developers’ signature aesthetic. If you take Animal Crossing and just remove an indie, you get Cozy Grove.
